Ocean City Post

As promised, here are pictures from last weekend when 5 friends and I went to Ocean City for a girls' weekend.  We stayed at a 2 bedroom condo on bayside for a great price thanks to one of the ladies in our group who knows the owner.  Here is an outside shot of where we stayed.  (we were on first floor in the middle)

We went down in 2 cars - my good friends Stacy and Joanna (I've know them both for 16 years) and I went down in one vehicle.  Pictures of us below.  The blonde is Joanna.  She is getting lapband surgery hopefully in October. 

In the other car was my sister-in-law, Alayne, and 2 of her friends who are now becoming my friends.  Both their names are Pam.  Here are the 3 of them.   (Alayne is on end wearing sunglasses.)  The middle Pam's nickname is "Cougar".  She's the oldest of the group, but is single and is the wildest.  Also, she likes younger guys.  : )

We arrived Friday about 5 pm.  After we unpacked, we talked about plans for the evening.  We decided to hang out at the place to talk, drink, play games and goof off.  I was glad that was the decision because, quite honestly, going out to a club 2 nights in a row is too much for me these days.  Here we are hanging out on our porch. 

One of the funnier things that happened was with this guy. 

A few of the girls said about how he was kind of freaky.  So later that night, as it got darker and spookier, I kept saying that I thought I saw him move.  That brought on a whole other line of conversation about horror movies and scary experiences.  Especially talking about when we were younger and how we would leap into bed so the monster under the bed couldn't grab our ankles.  The next morning I got up a little later than a few of the ladies and as I walked out the door there was the little guy waiting for me right outside my door.  Pretty funny. 

After we all had our coffee and talked some more, we decided to go for a walk.  Pam #2 brought us all "Girls' Weekend" shirts.  As we did our walk, we got a lot of attention from people who wished they were on a girls' weekend too.  Here is a picture of us wearing the shirts.  I will be so happy when I'm not the biggest girl in the group.  Sigh.,,

After we went for our walk, we went to the beach (no pictures from there - big surprise).  It was a beautiful day and after 2 hours in the sun, we were ready to go back to the room to get ready for dinner and dancing at Seacrets - one of the most happening clubs in OC.  Below is a picture of us at dinner.  (Alayne is taking the picture).

Stacy and I didn't have as much to drink, but we all had a blast. 

I am so thankful for this group of gals and I am looking forward to meeting all YOU gals soon.
