BYOC Friday

It's a miracle!  I'm doing BYOC Friday on Friday.  Yea Me!

1. What was your first pet?


My first pet was a black minature schnauzer named Amos.  I really don't remember him that well, because I was pretty young, but my parents told me every night he'd come into my room to make sure I was safe in bed.  When I got older, we inherited a lhasa apso , Cookie, when my grandmother passed away who I loved so much.  We then found out my youngest brother was allergic to dogs, so we had to give her to my uncle, who lived far away, so I barely got to see her.  I was devastated and suggested the we get rid of my brother instead of the dog, but they didn't like the idea.  Damn it!  When my husband and I moved in together, we got a minature schnauzer, Oscarina (she looked like Oscar the grouch, but since she was female, we couldn't name her Oscar.  We did call her Oscar, but her OFFICIAL name was Oscarina).  However, we felt extremely guilty because we weren't home very much to give her attention.  (Hot couple in their early 20s, helloooooo, I had a social life bach them)  Then we had our first child and Oscarina wasn't very happy about the new addition.  We were a little worried that she'd hurt Amy, so I was talking to a friend about my dilemma and she said she'd take Oscarina.  Her and her boyfriend were total dog people - they were those people who thought their dogs were their children, so they took her and I'm sure she was much happier.  So now we have 2 turtles that my youngest daughter begged for.  My eldest daughter is allergic to fur, so that got us out of any furred animal.  As is the circle of life, my youngest suggested we get rid of her sister so she could get a dog, but like my parents before, I nixed that idea. 
2. When did you lose your virginity? (Okay – before you throw stones and break out the holy water – first of all – this is not my question. It came from a follower and I obliged cuz I like it…so there.) Obviously don’t answer if this is too personal…..but don’t hate me for putting it out there.

I personally think you should have any question on BYOC and if someone feels it is too personal, then they don't have to answer.  I had sex when I was 19 with another virgin.  It sucked.  Got a little better, but not so much and I really wondered what all the hype over sex was about.  Until I met my second lover - a slightly older/ more experienced guy who was FREAKING AWESOME!   I think the next question should be how many sex partners have you had.  I've always been curious where I fall on the spectrum. 

3 & 4 – I’m combining these two cuz this answer could be long. A follower (thanks Steph) asked if I could ask what a daily meal plan looks like for each of you – out of curiosity and out of possibly learning new foods to try.

Right now, I'm eating pretty much whatever I want because I have "last dinner syndrome"   My surgery is set for July 9 and I am stress eating waiting for the official auth.   I have to go on a 2 week high protein/low carb diet 2 weeks prior so I need to get real very soon.  I appreciate this question because the answer will be very helpful to me.  Sorry mine isn't so helpful.  :-)  
5. Repeat question: What blog or blog comment stayed with you or stuck with you the most this week and why?

I really enjoyed Linda of Linda's Bandwith year bandiversary v-log.  I had the honor of meeting her in person and she is so funny and easy to talk to.  I'm really lucky we work so close to each other and hope to get together with her again soon.
