I took my first Zumba class tonight and lived to tell about it. I've got that good sore feeling and am so happy that I finally got my ass to the gym. I will definitely go back and also have my eye on a body combat class.
I don't think I could ever Zumba. I'm too uncoordinated. I don't know if I dropped your blog but I think it is back. It disappeared for awhile. Strange blooger.
I will say, that sore feeling is good. After a great workout, feeling exhausted is excilarating and a strange (and sadistic) sort of way. Keep it up.
Inundate with more cruise pictures, please! It's probably the closest I'll ever get!
I've been meaning to ask you how your sleep was going, and what your physician thought would be a good option for you. I'm always interested in this subject...
Geez, I love that good endorphin feeling from exercise. Last weekend, it was witches tit cold here, so anytime we were outside... I RAN to get to where I needed to go. Our closest mall is an outdoor mall... and I did lots of running. It felt great. But, alas... I still only do it out of necessity. Zumba your little heart out for me too, ok?
Well done! I really quite like achy feeling the next days, reminds me that I achieved something and don't have to do it again today! I have zero sense of rhythm and the idea of zumba brings me out in a cold sweat!
I am so happy you tried it and liked it! I go 3-4 times a week now. I am going this morning and I have pilates tomorrow morning. I really think the exercise bug has bitten me! You go girl!
I keep meaning to make it to a zumba class and still haven't! Hearing all of you rave about it really makes me want to try it. I love that good sore feeling.
I've never tried Zumba - but it sounds like lots of FUN! I'll have to check to see if there is one somewhere out here in Podunk! I'd love to give it a go!
OMG, I LOVE Zumba!! That is so awesome that you tried it out! I loved your cruise photos -- you look beautiful in the black dress! And, I love that it came by way of bandster friends!
so awesome! I still haven't tried zumba and I am dying to do it..I know I would love it! btw, have I told you i love the format of your blog..the football motif!
I am a 46 year-old wife (married 20 years to a wonderful man) and a mother (2 beautiful daughters, 16 and 19). I've been in the battle of the bulge since childhood and hoped the band would be the tool I needed to lose weight. I was banded on July 9th, 2010, but unfortunately lost minimal weight. I had a revision to gastric sleeve on May 1st, 2015 and am hoping that I am as successful as my other sleeve sisters.
