Thousand Word Thursday

This week's topic for Thousand Word Thursday from Amy of Babbles of a Bandster is:
Your favorite place where you live (your house, your town, whatever you choose to define as "where you live") - the place where you relax, recenter, regroup.  Show us and tell us why it's YOUR place!

Luckily my place is in my backyard.  Unluckily it is only from May to September.

When my husband and I were looking for a house, we both found this great, single family, 4 bedroom home with a built in pool on-line.  The price was higher than we could afford, but we figured we'd make them an offer.   After going back and forth a few times, we came to an agreeable price and we moved into the house we never thought we could get.

During the warm months, we have a vacation in our yard.  We have a lot of summer parties and enjoy having people over to enjoy the pool.   Unfortunately when it gets cool we have to cover the pool up and our backyward looks depressting.  I guess it's the price I pay for a great summer.

  13. Of course I should have put in my post that there is an open invite for any of my BOOBs who are in the area during the summer months to come hang out. But, even if you are around when it's cooler, I'd still like to meet.

Read - can't wait to have you over next summer.
