BYOC and a few other things.
Had a busy weekend. We've been having problems with our Tahoe and finally broke down and bought a new one. Well, new to us. It's a 2007. It only had 32,000 miles on it and looks great. Hubby deals with all the wheeling and dealing with the salespeople and when he's got the deal nailed down, I go in and sign the papers with him. I can't deal with all the going back and forth so glad he handles that part. He actually rejected the first price we were given and left the dealership. An hour later they called him and we got it for what we wanted. SCORE!
We also had hubby's 40th birthday party. His birthday is in May, but we wanted to have a pool party so decided to wait 2 months and have in July. They were calling for rain, but the forecast changed at the last minute and we had a beautiful sunny, warm day. It was a lot of fun and a lot of food. I did really well with eating, but didn't do a great job with staying hydrated. I started feeling nauseous. Either it was from not eating enough, not drinking enough or both. Anyway, I went into the house to eat some yogurt and drank some water and felt better quickly. I wasn't really tempted by all the good food and cake until clean up time. I did mash up some meatballs and had them which may be pushing my mushy stage, but I didn't have any problems with it going down.
Okay now for my BYOC late as usual
1. What's the oddest diet you have tried? Or which ones have you tried and were any successful?
Never really did any odd diets. I was successful on Weight Watchers if you call very, very slow weight loss successful. The best and easiest weight loss I had was when I used phentermine. Unfortunately my body became immune and it stopped working. Then the weight came back on.
2. Do you prefer baths or showers?
Showers. Not really a bath person. I do enjoy a jacuzzi, though.
3. What is your favorite breakfast food?
I love cheesy omelettes with a side of potatoes.
4. What’s your least favorite word?
I'm with Sarah of Simple, Sassy Sarah. Starts with "c" and rhymes with punt.
5. Repeat question…make someone a Superstar for a day! Whose blog or comment spoke to you or stuck with you the most this week and why?
I appreciated everyone's well wishes for my surgery last Friday. It feels so good to know that I'm not going through this alone.
Enjoy your new Tahoe!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great weekend. Love the new car!
