Total Weight Loss

I can finally move my weight ticker!

I had my second nutrition meeting today, which was my first weigh in and I'm happy to say that I lost 3 lbs.  Not that losing 3 lbs in a month is great, but I was happy to see the scale moving in the right direction for my insurance requirements.  Thanks to you all for your great suggestions on how to make sure I showed a loss.  The nutritionist did a group class, so I got to meet other people - 3 are doing RNY and myself and another woman are doing Lapband.   I'm also going to a support class on March 10th and looking forward to meeting others.  You all probably had ringing ears because I was talking in the nutrition class about all the support and ideas I've gotten within this blog community.   It's truly a blessing.

For those of you with a great memory, I was supposed to have my sleep test tonight, but because of the possible bad weather I decided to push it back to March 10th.

I am still working on my Beautiful Blogger acceptance.  I promise I will get it posted soon.

  2. Yay for 3 pounds. My RNP says 2-3 pounds a month. Anything more is too much and will raise the eyebrows, so to speak, of the insurance company.

What did you end up doing, of all the suggestions that were given?

Sounds wise to push the sleep study back. Y'all are gettin hammered, eh?!?!

  3. Actually, the forecast changed and we are supposed to get hit tonight and tomorrow. So I could have freaking had my sleep appointment done instead of pushing back. Arghhh. Thanks for congrats on 3 lbs and tip not to lose anymore. I basically at very little and drank a lot of water for the few days before weigh in and then didn't drink or eat anything the day of weigh in. Not the way to do it, I know, but it sucks that I have to play this game for 6 months. Anyway, thanks again.

  4. Congratulations on the weight loss!

As for the Sleep Study, unless you are Claustrophobic it is easy! If you are, let them know when you get there and they can help you out so that it isn't a total unpleasant experience!
